Job descriptionUnder general supervision, sets up and operates the Press Brake to bend, form and straighten sheet metal stock to blueprint or specifications.Essential Duties and Functions-Demonstrate proficiency in the proper setup and operation of assigned press brake in the brake department.-Demonstrate ability to read blueprints and conduct 1st piecelast piece inspection.-Must have ability knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.Physical qualifications-Work conditions will normally include standing for prolonged periods of time while producing parts.-Will be requiered to operate floor jacks and other mechanical lifting devices.-Repetitive us of hand is required along with the ability to do simple as well as power grasping while using setting up machine and producing parts. Fine manipulation of the hand is required while setting up the press brake and conducting labor reporting.Knowledge and Skills-Must have min of six months successful service of Press Brake and have a satisfactory attendance record. -Knowledge of metal properties and bend characteristics.-Knowledge of shop safety procedures.-Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, pass blueprint test.-Demonstrated ability wiht precision measuring tools and shop mathematics and passed Basic Measurement Training.-Must be able to do basic GD T-Knowdedgeable in machine setup.If you are interested in these positions please respond with resume or contact us at [removed phone] Location AntiochLa Vergne Compensation 9.00-10.00 depending on experiencePrincipals only.
